i dont think the implication is that syrax would beat vhagar, but because of Lucerys death, Rhaenyra hates Aemond and if they crossed paths on dragonback Nyra is CRASHING OUT to the fullest

I mean Syrax is the same class of dragon as caraxi and they tend to be very aggressive like in the books Syrax went into the dragon pit to fight the commoner instead of blasting them with her fire

The issue is that that image isn't accurate. Syrax is the same size as Meleys, and Rhaenyra is ten times the rider Aemond is.

Syrax in the books is much bigger than the show, in the book she is about the same size as caraxes, which is only slightly smaller than meyles, who is closer in size to vermithor, and given four months of that meyles put up along with the rage of her rider over the death of lucerys, I could definitely see it, Vhagar is very powerful and large, but she is also very slow and old, and at that age even balerion was more vulnerable due to age
