Eh. I felt this way until I went to a school nurse schedule. Lol. I was sick of the rotating weekends and holidays and missing random Friday nights with friends.

My dad was a PICU nurse and he would work 5-6 days in a row then get like 2 weeks off not using any PTO

No that’s if you’re paid nicely. As a RN in the south I work about 22 shifts a month. The OT is the only way I make liveable wages
