They used to do this all the time when I was a kid. They usually did it at Sunset anyway, and as a feral Gen X kid, when the street lights came on you went home

I vaguely remember DDT being te reason Bald Eagles were endangered bc the bugs the fish ate, and then the eagles ate the fish caused their eggs to have too thin of shells/membranes. Or I could be completely making that up lol

😭We've been doing that in Mexico for over 20 years to kill dengue🦟, pretty effective. We also have people knocking each 🚪and dropping Chloride tablets in any spot with water 🚽.
