well I have no proof and this is just my opinion, if your theory proves true, maybe the mega carriers will bring to light how drivers who can't speak a word of English are obtaining their CDLs.

It's called the 14 consecutive hour rule or clock. I've got 34+ years since Feb 1990. I'm retiring in August 2025 permanently. I keep track of the FMCSA, DOT and Congress. Old school was the BEST.

Mega carriers have trucks already have speed governed. This way the accountants can control and preplan drivers yearly time,mileage and pay. It is ridiculous already.

DOT has been pushing Speed Limiters for years but it didn't get any traction in Congress. Nothing new sir, but the insurance industry has been pushing it to the transportation industry for decades!
