that's on because the brake caliper pistons were compressed when replacing the brake pads without disconnecting negative battery cable first has nothing to do with wear sensors

Why do you have to do both terminals of battery? Using a scan tool, you just clear codes on n BCM. Right?

My 2010 lets me still use the whole speedometer, even if something is faulty. Unless my TCU fuse blows, then I’m just stuck in whatever gear with every bit of torque available to it.

I usually if it's just fronts just unplug the batt before doing everything. install it pump the brakes and plug the battery back in, it usually detects putting a new sensor on and resets the monitor
