@balam_says: I can see now that we are going to have good days, and bad days, and we just have to soldier through the healing process. Balam is subdued and quiet today. He looks heavy. I’m having a really hard time getting him to pee and poop because he can’t do it on his own right now. I’ve been sleeping with him in his crate every night, not the easiest or most comfortable rest, but he needs me with him. Last night he was restless. I barely slept. Perhaps this is just the other side of shock. He can feel exhausted now that the adrenaline has gone. I want to tell you all how much I appreciate you and your support in our time of need. Balam is an extraordinary cat. I want him around for as long as we can possibly have him. Keep sending love please. It helps us all.
