I think it's the yolk on its own! For years I couldn't eat egg unless it's scrambled or omelette. Mixing it reduces the eggyness somehow 😅

I am pretty sure it's like a comfort food, you probably do that with a lot of other foods too. for example Eat Mexican food for a week straight and then stop for 2 months
