And you can swap your tail shaft onto that one so you don’t have to modify the mounting or anything, selector might work but I’d imagine he swapped to a full manual valve body

That’s a f-body trans. U can swap the tail housing with yours. And far as the shifter.. just put your neutral safety switch on it. Unless they have a manual valve body in that f-body transmission

Make sure you try to clean the transmission cooler lines,metal shavings can be in them and cause your new transmission to get clogged up and not shift right

The rear tail shaft housing should be the same as the truck just swap them out

you can switch tail shafts just remove the 4 bolts off yours and put it on the new one
