There truly is no love like a mother's love, and I can see it all the time in its purest form in nature. The love that a mother has for her young is intrinsic, integrated, instinctive. No matter the animal, big or small, a mother will do everything in her power to ensure her young are cared for. I had the opportunity to see this recently in the Patagonian wilderness, when a mother puma and her 2 cubs were out and about. She was so connected to her little ones, and they to her. She loved spending time with them, playing with them, confronting them and chasing them. It was wonderful to see! On top of that, she was very comfortable with us walking with them as a family. It’s one of the most privileged wildlife encounters I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of them! This left me totally impressed and appreciative! This message is for all the beautiful moms who do everything they can for their family ❤️
