My food either contained fish or had been cross contaminated with fish and landed me intubated in the ICU Trying to breathe on my own for a hour while being vented was the hardest thing I've ever done physically. I was exhausted and wanted to give up. My husband stood by myside, keeping me awake, keeping me calm, encouraging me, telling me how strong I was... When I just wanted to give up. Im allergic to fish too! It’s so scary eating anywhere because nobody thinks about cross contamination! I keep 2 epi’s with me at all times. Glad you are ok.
