as somebody who once live downstairs- It is so easy to tell if the noise is an animal having the zoomies or playing, vs a person that's heavy footed. I love the animal noises lol

my upstairs neighbor has a tank of a cat and when he gets zoomies I can hear super loud thumping from one end of the apt to the other. it makes me smile even if it is 2am 😂🥰

My lab husky mix used to do this 😅 I was mortified thinking the neighbors below us hated us turns out they never even knew we had a dog 😂 so guess they were rarely home

I met my downstairs neighbor for the first time and the first thing I did was apologize for my pets’ zoomies. He laughed and said “it’s okay.” He can hear the difference between the cat and the dog.
