You wouldn't catch me dead using a pump on a 5 gallon gas can. Not saying the guys lazy, but electric motor and gasoline? Not my first choice.

As an electrician I will say hopefully the arc of switching the pump or the switch itself doesn’t ever ignite the gas fumes. 😅
