If I have the SLIGHTEST sore throat, cough, sneeze I text said friend with new baby that I’ll rain check. I have terrible allergies but I would rather push the visit back then get a newborn/momma sick

My friend did this. Told me her toddler was coughing from stress as he was all over my newborn. They left my house to go to the hospital right after and he had RSV. I’ll never trust someone again

I was supposed to meet my friend’s newborn the other week and my toddler came down with a fever that week. I was sad but I cancelled anyway because that’s what you should do 🤷🏻♀️

My allergies truly do this to me. Every spring and late summer/fall. 🫠 I once went in for a four week "cold". It was not a cold lmao but I still wouldn't be around a newborn. Just in case.
