It’s not normal to have 5 interviews. My son was hired into a tech job last year and had one interview.

I applied for a job with 500+ applications. Made it to the top 25 Zoom screen, top 10 in person, then top 3 Zoom again. Only to be passed up. One in person at a law firm - offer in 48 hrs.

I applied for over a thousand corporate jobs since December. WFH or in person, never heard back. Applied for an Amazon driver job, got it immediately after the interview. I love my job!

It happened to me once. There were over 200 applicants for a position and they only selected 8 applicants to interview. I was the lucky one.
