I saw both. The Forge hands down The BEST!!! The Deliverance wasn’t scary, just goes to show how weak the demon is when you believe in God with your whole entire soul.

I think there are two view points. There’s a view point on Christianity (religion) and a view point about the spirit realm and when you bring the two together some interpret correctly and some interpret incorrectly. The house and Gary Indiana was fillied with legions of spirit and one spirit was very strong. The women who owned the house prayed and rebuke the spirit and it didn’t do anything but make the spirits more angry. The praying and anointing her house didn’t do anything and we know that the Bible requires more with certain demons in order to make them flea. Understand that spirits are all around us everywhere we go weather if we call them bad or good. They just are, but there are these demonic spirits that do menifiest themselves and are very active and strong enough to move objects, enter into people, and harm people. This is called poltergeist activity. After a ghost investigation and evidence of the spirit going bonkers, that house was torn completely down. I do agree that this movie can be a portal, just like watching ghost hunters and other tv shows that talk about spirits. It’s the same was playing with an ouija board, or listening to certain music. Spirits are intelligent and see it on TV, they see it on set and they feed off of it because you are speaking about them and yes it introduces a space for negative and demonic spirits to come in. So I also don’t recommend you watch it in your house. Place a cover over your head with earphones if you do but pray after words. Again definitely based on a true story and people may be intrigued by it because people don’t encounter demonic spirits that manifest themselves all the time and they are interested in the spiritual realm? I wouldn’t just them and I would also be careful to say what God said, what we hear God say and so forth because Jesus has a personal relationship with people and deal with people accordingly.

It’s funny I immediately thought of the poltergeist when I watched that little boy being possessed. I think regardless it was a good movie especially how she used tongues to FIGHT the darkness.

i watched the movie this morning 🔥 the moment the girl shouted JESUS. I was lost in the spirit and spoke in tongues and for 30minutes I was still in the spirit. This movie called my attention back
