@rizqandreward: If I knew all of this would happen to me I probably wouldn’t have taken it but then again the pains from the artificial hormones drip for induction was so bad. I wouldn’t have got an induction either if I knew about that. #labourstory #epidural #muslimmum #firsttimemum #stayathomemum #toddlermum
Epidural saved my life. Wouldn’t have survived through those pitocin contractions

My epidural led to long term back issues and resulted in emergency surgery to remove some of my spine to relieve nerves and pressure…never again!

Epidural all the way. I don’t want to feel the labour pains, it’s hard enough with everything going on

I got the epidural and it made the rest of my labor and delivery so amazing, I would do it again 100000% I went in 5 cm dilated and the contractions are insanely painful, I felt immediate relief with the epidural.

I have never and will never get an epidural. I love how someoen is bringing this to awareness because I’ve never been comfortable risking so many problems JUST to not feel the pain of birth. I think-

I wouldn’t get one again. I had a spinal fluid leak from the epidural, and I couldn’t sit upright or stand for a month. The pain was worse than contractions.

Never regret having the epidural. Baby was calm & heart rate didn’t fluctuate when I was pushing. Could not feel a thing at all during labour! Best decision ever

Half of it is not true at all. I don't know for the back pain but I think it's really rare to have a permanent damage.

I'm working on #4 without epidural. I got to be with my sister while she gave birth and got one, she had such a hard and traumatic time, it just reassured me on my decision not to get it.

Had the epidural at 10cm and my god the difference in pain. I still have nightmares and trauma from the pain before that. 😭 if you’re weak like me and can’t handle pain then deffo get it

my epidural experience was actually good. sent from heaven honestly with the pain. But I didn’t know until after birth that it actually slows down labour so it takes longer than usual. I had an

100% Epidural. I had an induction with pitocin and tried to go natural and my body couldn’t handle it. My girls heart rate kept dropping and I got the epidural in case I ended up in a C Section.

I had an epidural with my first child and it failed. I had an unplanned natural child birth. Traumatizing. My second labor, the epidural worked. Alhumdulillah for everything.

The epidural really messed up my back & sad thing is it only worked on one side of my body. Other side I could feel everything during birth 😫

No epidural. 2 of my 3 were unmedicated and it was a better experience IMO and very empowering. The epidural gave me back problems and seemed to make my pushing harder not as productive.

my epidural went wrong and ended up with a lumbar puncture which caused a csf leak all the way up in my head to the point the spinal fluid was also coming out of my eyes.
