Gore-Tex is extremely overrated. Works somewhat the first and second time (still get wet though) you use then in wet weather..

really not worth putting a shoe always in water to get soaked. like it won't get inside wet when you step in water for a second or two, but hours no boot will be dry..unless ya kno..rain boots

I wore out some boots with a guarantee to keep your foot dry. except I wore the soles out and they tried to tell me that they don't warranty the soles and I said well my feet aren't dry.
