Got care credit, paid it off during the interest free period. 2 year zero bal. The contacted me and told me to use my card or they were canceling it. Asked why, they weren't making money on me 😏

It's the deferred interest trap, if it's not paid by the end of the promo period interest is on the original amount.

I just noticed they were applying payments to lower balance promotions so that they could charge me interest on the higher amounts. 🙃

My dog had surgery so we had two transactions. $1800 for pre surgery work up that had six month promo and 5k surgery with fixed interest until paid off. They’ve been applying all my payments 1/2

Used care credit for my dog in a tight situation. I paid it off in less than 1.5 years. They closed my account immediately and my credit score went down 🫠

I’ve had CareCredit for years!! The interest rates are so high and yes. I’ve had to use it for my dogs throughout the years. And they only offer now only a 6 month payoff period. What can I do in NV.
