My dr told me my son 2yr 6mnth too young to be diagnosed. We had a trial or brown and blue. Symptoms cleared was told to stay on for another 3m but no symptoms so sought 2nd opinion. No inhalers…

Thank you for saying it’s a myth, I had to fight to get my 3 year old diagnosed as 4 seperate GPs told me it was impossible to get him diagnosed asthmatic as he was ‘too young to have it’ 🤦🏼♀️

I tend to be bad after a laughing fit. If I find something funny and have laughed a lot I will start coughing and have a wheeze. With exercise im fine tho 😂

It’s very sad that a lot of GPs are dismissive of this type of cough. I wish more GP surgery’s had doctors like you who know, understand and treat accordingly 🥰

My son was admitted to icu in April after 2 years of fighting for him to be helped with a bad on off cough, was given inhalers and was told asthma can’t be diagnosed until after 5😳

My son had pneumonia 3 times back to back, the only thing that helped was inhalers, and now he follows up with a pulmonologist. He has asthma 😫

Very lucky my gp and hospital listened to me. After 9 admissions for pneumonia in an 8 month period my son was diagnosed with asthma at 2yrs old 🙏🏼
