@reallifewithliz_: ⚠️PIP Mental Health QUESTIONS⚠️ Do you think assessments for Personal Independence Payment, LCWRA, DLA OR ESA should be different to the current questions? Be honest and let me know what you think 🤔💜#pip #disability #benefit #MentalHealth #ptsd #trauma #cptsd #depression #anxiety #pain #fibromyalgia #chronicillness #help #support #empowerment
i have physical and mental health and i feel mental health is brushed over on dwp forms, both in its own right n how it affects physically such as pain and fatigue levels

Samantha :
I have mental & physical, so difficult to say but the questions are more based around physical illness

Yes!!! My mental health kills me every day. It might be a hidden disability, however it can have the same affects as someone with a physical disability. Unable to do things, unable to get around.

I feel they are based around physically health, it’s very hard to answer for a mental health point of view

Not only different for mental health but also for neurodiverse people. Just got the forms for my son and there’s so much not relevant to him but load of stuff missed that could help understand

Yes- it needs to have more questions relating to m/h. The pip / lcw are mostly directed towards physical disability. M/h is overlooked putting you at a disadvantage before you start. Hidden disability is not in depth enough which prevents you scoring the necessary points. Physical & mental are both debilitating just in different ways but still massively impacts your life. It’s not right 👌

100% should be different I feel the questions are aimed at people with physical disabilities n yet mental health can be just as debilitating

you really have to make your UC50 form completely about why your MH would affect your capability to work. PIP is about how your disability affects you in your ability in everyday living.

Yes because I find sometimes I answer the question from my mental state and forget to mention the physical pain or vice verser 💜
