Paid a dealer $170 when I already knew it was a transmission solenoid, told me it needed a new transmission $7,000, I said no, replaced the solenoids for a tenth the price and it’s fixed. Crooks

This is why I scan every car I work on and print out the results and give it to the person and save a copy for me so if they comeback I can pull it up and stay it wasn’t there before

lol we had a lady asking if we could scan it for a head gasket issue. I told her we might get a misfire code but it wouldn’t tell me if it was blown. She wasn’t happy with that answer
