I’m thankful my parents were always a good in between off like boomer and Millennial parenting. I didn’t get everything I wanted but they were also like emotionally empathetic at least a little bit

when raising my 3 kids, I chastised very little. so when I did speak, it was with a deep understanding that the behavior was unacceptable and the consequence would be epic. it worked.

I have a millennial(95), a xenial (99) & a Gen Z (07) I was a single mom with the first 2 & some of the baby. I was very lenient, because I had to pick my battles. They’ve grown to be great kids. ❤️
