in Germany we do minimum 20 cm (7,5 inch thermo panels) beside minimum 30 cm (12 inch) stone wall and windows with 3 layers of glass. 😅👌👌

In Finland we never put the non-breathable layer on the outside so that the wall structure breathes and doesn't collect condensation moistness

Doesn’t condensation get trapped in the walls? This acts like a vapour barrier on the exterior. Mold and rot in the walls?
