After college I spent a year volunteering for Legal Aid. I had this one woman who wanted to sue her landlord because he deposited her rent check, it bounced, & the bank was charging her penalties.

even if they accidentally deposited real money in your account, if you spend it knowing it isn't yours, you're still being charged with theft.

I honestly think it’s been so long since we used checks that people don’t know (or don’t remember) check fraud. It’s still common sense not to steal money though

the glitch was that the bank was letting them pull out as much money as they wanted out of an ATM instead of just $100 like it usually does when you have a pending check

People involved in the glitch challenge should have the option to pay a fine and repay the money, similar to how banks can avoid jail time by paying fines after stealing millions.

If you’re a lawyer the second question should be how do they expect to pay for your services lol if they committing fraud to make ends meet I doubt a lawyer is in the budget…

Would it be possible to pay zero interest rate with this “glitch” ? Dont take out the money, but every week write a cheque for your negative sum; put it in - leave the money - but now no interest.
