I stayed in the Honmachi area at Lub d Honmachi, which was a 5-10 min walk from the lively area of Dotonbori. Perfect location as it was far enough away from the noise to get a quiet night but close enough to feel fully submerged in the action! Easily doable in 3, but if you want to take it slower then I would recommend 5 nights.
