@consumingcouple: 7 Train Series - Stop 1 Argentinian parrillada at R40 LIC 🇦🇷 Underrated is an overused adjective, but this place is exactly that in our opinion - live fire cooking, quality ingredients and a few dishes that you’re not seeing everyday, but this place still seems to fly under the radar. Chef Gio built the restaurant around the custom made grill and the incredible meat that’s cooked on it, but ties in some of the Italian influence, as well as some non-traditional elements, to Argentina’s cuisine. We had the empanadas, focaccia, rigatoni and parrillada - all hits and they even had peach grown in the garden on the focaccia! We’ll be making our way to restaurants along the 7 line starting here in Long Island City all the way out to Flushing, hopping off at a certain amount of express and local stops along the way. A good amount of places are already locked in but we have a few gaps, so we’re more than happy to take suggestions and recommendations from you guys along the way!
