agree with all what you said. even if this in your threat model=>keep your key always with you. if it's lost for >10h hours you might consider it compromised

Presumably if you had setup your Yubikey with an extra separate password on FIDO this would make a cloned key useless?

So Yubikey and complicated, in my experience I’d suggest a second 2FA via a e-Sim or spare number that you don’t share with anyone.

I mean they need physical access to the yubikey. I will say however I work for a large company that uses these so better not loose mine.
