Is the price of groceries a little crazy? Sure. But I can easily pack the required lunch for my daughter cheaper than pay $4.75 for school lunch and still have to pack a snack.

Our schools in Canada (for the majority) they don't supply any breakfast or lunch. They do have some snacks that they have but parents are responsible for the lunches.

Here in Canada we always have to make their lunches unless maybe they go to a private school bit public schools require us to make and pack their lunches daily.
