@canadiancarpenter: NOT SIDING NAILERS!!! Well kind of. I get a lot of comments when people see me nailing walls together or framing in general about using siding or roofing nailers. Not a siding nailer! Just because they are coiled nails doesn’t make them that. However to just confuse people more I do use siding nailers for sheathing walls and roofs. But you call it a siding nailer but in the video you say it’s not? Yes because it has and never will be used for that. Sheathing nailer is what I would call it. Now why wouldn’t I just use the framing nailer and swap nails as needed? I have 2 reasons why 1 being I know I would see a lot of part coils laying around getting kicked around and I would constantly have to change the depth settings on the nailers and as much as I could do that,I’d rather not. The second reason being as the siding nailers only allow so much air through the gun for the application so I don’t have to worry about seriously overdriving a nail. It counter sinks but not over driven there’s a difference.
