This week I lost my work device during boarding. I was stressed the whole flight. At the end a lady said her dad was sitting on it the whole flight 😭 (the scanner was not attached).

My airline has iPads as well but if something like that happens we’re allowed to fly without it as long as someone has theirs so we have access to a FAM

my company the partial workaround at an outstation is we email the FA manual to the personal cell and use it.

It’s either that or overnight delay the flight cuz most likely that 9 pm flight was the last out of there and they most likely had no reserve FAs at that base
