we did these at daycare years ago used cookie cutters put a hole in the top for tree ornaments we baked then in oven 275 for couple hours

I have never added glue just equal amounts of cinnamon and apple sauce. I make gingerbread men sometimes embellished but the ones that arent then get used in a boiling pan smells great

I make the ornaments with that dough and put on gift wrapped in craft paper & jute twine. Very rustic!
