@dr.mamina: I have other non-sunscreen sun protection tips below. But yeah, if you're spending time outdoors and getting that sun, it is important to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. A lot of people get a false sense of confidence from just one application of sunscreen, and often will end up getting burned or tanned more than expected when spending prolonged time outdoors. The reapplication rule of every 2 hours is more hazy if you're indoors all day, but I do think reapplying at least one other time in the day is very helpful. When it comes to sunscreen, more is more. 🧢 Wear sun protective clothing (hats and UPF clothing) 💊 Consider Heliocare supplements (or a supplement with polypodium leucotomos) to further protect the DNA in your skin cells ☀️ Minimize sun between 10am and 2pm 😎 Hang out in the shade 🧴Wear antioxidant serum (like vitamin C) and/or DNA repair enzymes. #sunscreen #sunprotection #spf #sunscreenisimportant #dermtips #dermatologist #drmamina
