Starting out, my relationship with rock climbing was a bit tainted because I really didn’t want to, nor did I think I could, enjoy another hobby/sport as much as I loved horseback riding. I will say, I’m so grateful I kept going even when I felt too depleted or depressed. No matter what it is, I feel like having something to go do, that isn’t dictated by your leg/circumstances makes the days a little easier!
