@thechaosdiaries: Can you believe this is England? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Welcome to the gorgeous Isles of Scilly archipelago - outstandingly beautiful, uncrowded and unspoilt, they lie just off the coast of Cornwall but seem like a world apart. ✈️ How to get there? Accessing the islands from the mainland is easy, you can take the Scillonian ferry from Penzance harbour or fly on the Skybus from Lands End, Newquay or Exeter airport. We flew via Exeter airport and the experience of going in the twin otter plane for our one hour flight was just incredible! 🏡 Where to stay? Scilly has 5 inhabited islands, each with their own unique charm. We stayed on the island of St Martins at Karma St Martins which I’d whole heartedly recommend - probably one of the most beautiful hotels in England! The other islands are easily accessible with boats connecting them on a daily basis, our hotel organised a boat transfer to Tresco on one of the days which was absolutely gorgeous!
