I work at a GameStop, I had this younger guy come in with his mom and he wanted to buy a switch OLED. Those switches in particular are 450 CAD and the guy pulls off his backpack and puts it on the ground, he then proceeds to pull out multiple baggies full of quarters and dimes and nickels. We counted them all together and he had enough! He bought the switch and turned and gave his mom a hug and said “I finally have a switch” his mom then says “and it’s all thanks to hard work” he then started to tear up a bit and then his mom said to me that he had been saving from his allowance for 5 years it really made me appreciate life and all the work I’ve done to get through the tough days and just keeping that hope up is more than enough!
