I think the Colleges need to be held more accountable. They actively recruited and sold the idea of staying permanently. They just excluded key requirements.

Please say it loud!!! Very well said. I came to Canada in 2006 as work permit live in nanny. I became PR in 2013 and Canadian citizen only in 2019. Now, an Ontario Certified Teacher.
