@aalexiaevellyn: It was a huge challenge to sing a song in a language I’ve never even spoken a word. But it couldn’t have been more magical ❤️‍🔥 When they invited me and sent me two songs to choose from, I came across this treasure called 左手指月 (Upwards To The Moon). From the first time I heard it, I could feel its strength, love and beauty, but when I went to look for the translation, I confess I was shocked, because this song also talks about the red threads, a Chinese tale that inspired me so much to do the work I’ve been building in my songs and the story in my music videos (which are connected to each other, as you already know👁️). When I chose this song to sing, I couldn’t imagine that the composer herself would accept an invitation from the program to sing this with me! I loved this precious challenge of being alongside 萨顶顶 (Sa Dinging) , an incredible artist and composer, who was so sweet and kind to me throughout the process. Thank you so much sister, for creating such a beautiful song, singing it with you was an honor! I’m so so grateful to the entire team and to so many people from this country that I’m loving getting to know every day.
