She climbed over her like a predator claiming its territory, pinning both of Mikaela's wrists above her head with one hand. With her free hand, she traced Mikaela's neck with terrifying gentleness. "You slept with him," Alexander murmured, her face inches away. "And now he is dead because of it. Did you really think I would let another soul touch what is mine?"Mikaela stared up in panic. "Alexander, please, it was just the mission—" "Silence," Alexander commanded. "Every single second you spent with him was stolen from me."
