Use Hue bulbs you can control them with your phone. Not to mention sync lights to wake you up / adjust colors and intensity to fit the mood.

My apartment bed room has no overhead light but my lamp has a smart lightbulb connected to the Alexa so I don’t even have to reach the lamp 😂
