SOPHIE's contribution to pop music lives not only in her own work, but also across the many different artists that she produced/inspired/collaborated with. Grab your tickets now and come and celebrate, not only to SOPHIE's music, but those who recognised her talent, and her vision to the future of pop. This June, the highly anticipated and rumoured posthumous album from electronic music pioneer SOPHIE was confirmed to be coming, and we at team CYB3R recognise that the music we enjoy to party to would not exist without SOPHIE's endless and continued influence, talent and contributions to the genre. To celebrate the life and legacy SOPHIE has left behind, we decided the only acceptable way to acknowledge that would be to throw a party to commemorate her life and posthumous album. The only way we felt comfortable doing this, however, was to make sure ticket sales from this event were paid forwards to a local LGBTQ+ charity, as not only was SOPHIE at the forefront of experimental music, but also an example of trans excellence - someone that would inspire many queer artists that have come after her. @sayitsheffield works with young people aged 8-25 and professionals to make real lives better. They provide practical support to LGBTQ+ young people, host a parent and carer group, and their training helps organisations improve knowledge and address discrimination here in Sheffield. So, on September 27th, come and party with our CYB3R crew and lets honour a legend in our community, whilst raising money for a great cause!
