I lost 20lbs in 2 months after getting on metformin for insulin resistance. As a pcos girly, I had my first period in 5 months after 6wks on metformin. Only change in my diet is more protein/fiber.

I have PCOS, diagnosed Type 2 diabetic August 9th last year they started me on 4 insulin injections a day, that day I started keto, by April I’m no longer type 2. I’m not even pre diabetic.

But my blood sugar and insulin are perfect. Low actually. But I still have hirsutism, skin tags, facial hair issues. My a1c and cholesterol and everything is perfectly on the low normal side.
