$2,000 DERRICK HENRY WHITE PANDORA UPTOWN /25 PSA 10 heads out the door! And here are my thoughts. With @stewcards7 @Sponablecards and @breakingblonde624 at the @lasvegascardshow. . Often times when you’re dealing with high dollar / rare cards like this, you need to come up with estimated values on your own since there are no comps. (In this case, there were no graded PSA 10 comps). And when this happens, I rather price my cards way to high, and see what people will offer me, then to price too low and miss out on a good opportunity to make some money. I originally purchased this PSA 10 for $1,000, and at the time, the only raw comp was for $600. Putting an estimated value, imo, around $1200-$1500. Fast forward a few weeks and another comp pops up for a raw card selling for $790. Now moving my estimated value to around $1600-1700. Given the uncertainty of everything I mentioned above, is why I chose to mark this card a bit high at $2,000, and just listen to offers. When this customer offered $1,400, it was a fair offer, and I could make quite a bit of profit on it, right then and there. So took it. Sometimes comps help you, most of the time they hurt you.
