as someone who has hoarding tendencies and someone who wants to help me with it, these videos just break my heart. because I know not everyone has that. my mom comes to my house several times a week to help me get rid of things I don't need, to help with the accumulation of stuff. I am very lucky that my mom does that, as my older siblings have said they will not help me after my mom one day passes away. my dream is to one day be in a state where I can look at an object and give it up, throw it out or donate it without feeling the crippling fear of not having it. and that keeps me going.
