My mom can be in the room because she’s there to help her baby, have a baby. It is different. I don’t know why people don’t get that.

I'd never try to force myself into my daughter in laws birth 😂 that's insane! I will be bringing her a care package when she lets visitors though!

I love my MIL and we are close. But when it comes to labor I only want my husband and maybe my mom but nobody else. As much as I have a good relationship with her I’ll be vulnerable in that time and need peace

I had my husband with me. Didn’t tell our parents that baby was here til AFTER I was fed, baby was fed, changed, baby and I are both comfortable, I showered, I got some rest.
