A good tip to do is before you make2D, select everything and use the MergeCoplanarSurfaces command. It’ll join any surfaces touching each other so that there won’t be a line where they touch in make2D

so glad that the most I had to do on CAD was just making gears. found a gear/sprocket generator script online to automate the process and my boss thought I was a genius. I barely know what I'm doing.

type “units” add a few more 0s in both model viewport tolerance and the other one I forget what it’s called , I think it’s in units. Comment on this and I’ll double check tomorrow
