Going back to the office will actually be a good think for the UK employees. If you prove that you don’t need to be in the office companies will start hiring people abroad where they’ve to pay less.

I worked in an office full time once, there was worse collaboration, worse communication, harder to focus, filled with pointless parties, and overall it was just less productive
