I don’t understand how people can call them ‘violent monsters’ they’re simply animals trying to survive whether they are in the wild or in captivity. A popular thing people like to say is that they ‘torture’ their prey, they do not. Torture is something humans do because we are the only ones that understand the concept of it. What Orcas do is simply stun or tire out the prey by using blunt force in hopes of killing it. Same as how wolves will wear their prey out by chasing it non-stop before killing, or how some domestic cats will play with a mouse before killing. It’s not cruel, it’s the circle of life, you don’t have to like it, I know it’s sad to see sometimes, when they’re hunting animals you like, but calling it ‘torture’ or ‘cruel’ is incorrect. Now when it comes to attacks/incidents with people, there’s only been a couple (I think) recorded in the wild, in which were pure accidental ‘attacks’. With captive attacks, they are not the Orcas fault, and most of the time, not the trainers fault either. With Tilikum killing dawn, there’s a high chance he didn’t mean to, he never knew how to properly deal with his trainers in the water because he was never taught, he most likely didn’t even know he was harming Dawn. With Kasatka dragging Peters around the tank, reports indicate she was stressed because she could hear her calf in a back pool, she had been more protective when she had gave birth therefore making her more aggressive towards people, which is nobody’s fault. Then with a minor incident which an unamed trainer was washing down Malia’s mouth, when she came to close to the Orca, violating the 3 feet code, Malia bit down on her arm and ‘immediately let go’ that would be classed as the trainers fault not the Orcas, people also belive that she did not bite down on purpose, they think she was just ticklish in that one area of her mouth causing her to tense up and bite. I don’t believe Orcas are horrible animals, because there’s countless evidence proving they’re not. If you disagree that’s fine, but if you want to argue about anything in the comments, i suggest having evidence to back it first. . . @SamSurSås✝️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ I know it’s not the best, but I hope this is okay! . . #fyp #orca #killerwhale #viral #edit #pretty #whale #captivity #cute #beautiful #seaworld #sea #marine #animal #funny #sad #orcawhale #animal #dolphin #powerful #orcatok #pretty #trend #nature #cool #plsblowup #trending #foryou #fypp
