Legit question, how does somewhere so small have so many accents. Like America is huge, but there's only a couple accents that are incomprehensible to other Americans (Creole, Appalachian, etc). (p1)

American here who lives in Croatia. I was so excited to go to the UK and speak only English. I went to Liverpool and questioned what language they spoke the whole time. 😂

I agree with #1! On Spring Break in Florida from Virginia one year met some guys from Scotland, could not understand them At ALL! (Alcohol was involved which I think made both our accents worse!)LOL
