My mom didn’t believe me growing up that certain foods made my throat sting and MADE me eat them. Now I can’t even be in the same room if someone is cutting a watermelon because allergies 💁🏼♀️

Mine was oatmeal with uneven consistency, I was forced to eat it before school for at least 4 years. And the saddest part I was still hungry after it. Just imagining it makes me sick

my mom always encouraged us to try food we didn't like just in case our taste changed, never forced us. she was right, my taste kept changing over the years. she never ever forced us though.

Studies have shown that not only is this genetics to not like cilantro but if someone can’t tolerate certain foods they may also be allergic.

mom did same with Brussels sprouts. Shehboiled them, gross. She made me eat them at a dinner party. I vomited up as fast as I ate them, all over the table, guests left & she never made them again

I have same reaction to herbal teas. I dont know why, I used to drink tea when i was little and can still remember that taste was good, but since I turned 10 it started making me sick.
