well vinegar and salt should slow down the 'going bad' process, so it depends really where you keep it and how old it actually is

The faded color means it's just oxidized or it could've went bad. Usually it doesn't really go bad since there is such a high amount of vinegar and spice in it. 9 times outta 20 it just oxidized.

If you're worried about it, dump it out, clean the bottle and refill from the big one (probably half full to avoid wasting it).

Yes. That food poison just not worth the risk. Is only $2-5 I keep it in refrigerator. Normally there is a date on it. I like that sauce too

Anything organic other than honey goes bad. There should be an expiration date on the bottle.

yes it can but it's weird. the thing to check is the lid of the contianer cause that's where mold likes to hide and that's what's gonna get you sick

if in doubt throw it out. the salt and vinegar will *probably* keep it safe for consumption, but with discoloration, there will *at least* be quality degradation

If there’s nothing growing in it then it’s probably good but if I saw hot sauce that color I wouldn’t trust it
